Imagine miles upon miles of ski slopes, meeting every taste and every style, authentic mountain chalets, all set against a backdrop of pretty pine forests…
In front of you, a breathtaking spectacle. You are on the ski domain of Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc. If the fancy takes you, you can test your surfing skills in one of the region's most beautiful spots, the Mont-Joux snowpark. Or take one of the innumerable snowshoe paths and imagine yourself as a trapper in the northern reaches of Canada. Or you might like to have a go at telemarking or paragliding. Because here, between 580 and 4807 metres in altitude, everything is possible. You don't believe us? Come this winter and see for yourselves….you'll never want to leave!
In Saint Gervais, after a good day out on the slopes, the party continues with a whole series of events held throughout the season. Get away from it all and enjoy the festivals and events that bring together good humour, skiing in all its forms and music in a harmonious blend of entertainment. Conviviality and fun are the names of the game, but if you prefer an evening in the casino, nobody will hold that against you.
The absolute must: finish your day in the mountains by spa session at the Baths. The water of Mont Blanc is like a natural serum and when blended with the Alpine herbs, is sure to give you an immediate sensation of well-being and calm. Another of the magical moments the mountain has to offer!
When it is snowing outside, what better than to snuggle up in the warm for the evening... Here, you can rely on the locals to help you. The welcome is warm and friendly, and they are proud to be able to offer you the best by opening up the doors to their paradise to you.
They will be bending over backwards to help you to have fun and excitement and to discover the hidden treasures of local gastronomy, culture, mountain life or simply their joie de vivre.
An evening with good friends over a good meal, a warm night over in a refuge nestled in the heart of a mountain pasture or an unforgettable torchlight procession down the slopes – there is no better way to achieve ful happiness.
The real advantage of Saint Gervais is that is is a traditional village where there is no end to what you can explore, from Le Fayet to Le Bettex, along the bottom of the slopes, via the authentic Savoyard village of Saint Nicolas de Véroce or Saint Gervais, the historical centre with its typical spa architecture. The Baroque churches, the villages in the Pays du Mont Blanc region or the major nearby urban centres are also extremely accessible from Saint Gervais.
From here, you can travel all around the Mont Blanc massif, with the rare privilege of taking the Mont Blanc Tramway, a veritable railway treasure, which will take skiers and walkers on a fantastic journey to the Bellevue plateau at a height of 1,800 metres or further on to the ski domain of Le Prarion-Les Houches.
